ScarAway is intended for the management of old and new scars, including hypertrophic and keloid scars, resulting from surgery, trauma, wounds, burns and more. ScarAwayTape can be cut to fit small, large, or irregularly-shaped scars. Tape lasts for up to 24 hours. When tape loses stickiness, dispose and replace with another piece. Do not expose to water for prolonged periods.​​

For prevention of abnormal raised scars, use as soon as the wound is closed or sutures are removed. For existing scars, begin using immediately, provided your skin is intact and no wounds or irritation are present. ScarAway is suitable for use on children, and people with sensitive skin.

Application & Care​

1. Wash and dry scar area. Do NOT use soap that contains moisturizers, lotions or oils.​

2. Using clean scissors, cut desired length of ScarAway Scar Tape. (Tape should extend beyond the scar on all sides by at least ½ inch (1cm) to facilitate adherence to the skin.)​

3. Slowly begin to peel off the protective liner from the adhesive side of the tape, careful not to let it roll onto itself.​

4. Apply the adhesive directly to the scar. Press the tape firmly onto scar area starting from one end and smooth into place.​

5. Tape has gentle adhesive and can stay in place for up to 24 hours. When the tape loses adhesiveness, discard and replace with a new piece of tape.​

6. Recommended duration of treatment is 60-90 days

• This product is NOT sterile.

• DO NOT USE ON OPEN WOUNDS OR ON OOZING AND CRUSTING SKIN, THIS MAY RESULT IN INFECTION OR OTHER SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS.

• Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes.

• If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.
